State of play at the end of school year by main and additional indicators - number of schools (main and sattelite classrooms), number of students by sex and grades, number of classes, number of students by foreign languages learnt, number of teachers by sex and working hours, students who have completed school, students who attend inclusive education by sex and grades, equipment of schools with computers.

This survey provides data on the status, structure and development of schools and grades, sex and age structure i movement of primary and lower secondary students, results of schooling and teaching stuff executing primary and lower secondary education.

Statistical unit is every primary school in the Republic of Serbia.

03.6. Statistical population

Children attending primary and lower secondary education (regular or for children with disabilities), as well as adults who attend schools for primary education for adults.

03.7. Reference area

The data refer to the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

As of 1999, Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia do not collect data for AP Kosovo i Metohia, so they are not included in this data set for the Republic of Serbia (total).

The survey is conducting on the basis of the Law on official statistics ("Official Gazzete of the Republic of Serbia" number 104/2009).

Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia has an agreement on cooperation with large number of organizations and institutions, both nationally and internationally, with which it exchanges information, data and experiences. There is also an intensive cooperation between different organizational units within the Office itself.

Data confidetiality is guaranteed by the Law on the official statistics which prescribes the use of data solely for statistical purposes and Rulebook on statistical data protection in the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

All obtained data from reporting units are published on aggregate level. Individual data can be provided exclusively with special authorisation from Director.

Statistical report for end of the school year is submitted by every primary school (public nad private) za main school and classes in other settlement, if any, including schools for children with disabilities and schools for adult education.
