Methodological explanations

Utilized agricultural land (UAA): Land area: kitchen gardens, arable land, meadows and pastures, and perennial crops on which agricultural production was carried out in the observed period.

Тhe total area of ​​the agricultural holding that could be irrigated in the observed year using the equipment and quantity of water normally available to the holding, regardless of whether it was irrigated or not. The possibility of irrigation primarily refers to the availability of water for irrigation. The equipment that can bring water to the land can be the owner's or someone else's, regardless of the type of equipment.

Method of calculation

The ratio of irrigable agricultural land to the total utilized agricultural land.
