Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Percentage of children age 12-23 months who received the third dose of DTP containing vaccine (DTP3) at any time before the survey.

Target 3.8 is defined as “Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all”.

The objective is for all people and communities to receive the quality health services they need (including medicines and other health products), without financial hardship.

Number of children age 12-23 months who received the third dose of DTP containing vaccine (DTP3) at any time before the survey is divided by all children age 12-23 months and multiplied by 100.

Observation unit are children age 12-23 months.
