Methodological explanations

The Survey on the Use of Public Services and Public Integrity is the result of joint work between the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the European Commission. This survey was part of a regional project through which independent surveys were conducted in countries/areas of the Western Balkans region. The main questionnaire and other survey instruments were developed together with UNODC and its national partners to ensure common methodological standards and data comparability. The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia conducted the survey in June/July 2010 using the interview method on a random sample of respondents. The target population was the resident population of Serbia, aged 18 to 64.
